PNARC has been active in Rockland County in many professional and academic endeavors.  A founding member of the annual Rockland County Nurse Recognition Day Program and Awards, PNARC continues to award scholarships to Rockland County high school students pursuing a degree in nursing as well as leadership awards to graduating nursing students who have held leadership positions in the SNA (Student Nurses Association)

• an environment for improving nursing practices and enhancing the image of professional nursing

• a forum for the discussion and dissemination of information related to issues, legislation and other factor that impact nursing practice

• support to an participate with other professional and community groups promoting the quality of health care for the community

• social opportunities for professional nurses to network

Membership is open to licensed registered nurses who live and/or work in Rockland County. Annual dues are $40.
